History
Dedicated to the deity of water and rain, this shrine has long protected the flow of the Tone River since ancient times. During droughts, the faithful gathered in prayer, and legend tells that heavens would answer with blessed rain. The shrine maintains its shugendō traditions even now, drawing visitors who seek the blessing of pure, flowing water and protection from water-related calamities.
