Ajima Shrine, located in Kusuajimane, Kita Ward, Nagoya, is an ancient shikinaisha (imperially-recognized shrine) listed in the Engishiki Jinmyocho compiled in the Heian period, recorded under Haribe District of Owari Province. With a history spanning over a millennium, it has long been venerated as the guardian deity of the local community, offering blessings for abundant harvests and thriving commerce. The shrine continues to serve as the spiritual anchor for generations of residents in the Kusu area.
