Byakko

This Asahimori Tenmangu enshrines Sugawara no Michizane, the god of learning. Therefore, many students and exam candidates visit seeking academic success and prayers for passing exams. Plum trees are planted in the precincts, which are cherished as Michizane's favorite flower. In a quiet and calm atmosphere, one can see people earnestly praying for success. It is also said to have the benefit of good luck and warding off evil, responding to a wide range of wishes.
