Nihonbashi Hie Jinja is a branch shrine of Hie Jinja, which has continued since the Edo period, and is enshrined in Kayabacho, the financial district of Nihonbashi. It enshrines Oyamakui no Kami and has been revered as the guardian deity of those working in this center of commerce. Near the stock exchange in this location, visitors seeking the blessings of Hachiman for prosperous business and good fortune never cease. It continues to be loved as a small sacred space in the business district, conveying the merchant spirit of the Edo era to the present day.
