Shibamata Hachiman Jinja is a shrine located in Shibamata, Katsushika Ward, Tokyo. It was formerly ranked as a village shrine (sonsha). The principal deity Hachimandaijin has long been venerated as a deity of martial prowess and victory, drawing the faith of warriors throughout history. The shrine also enshrines Takeminakata no Mikoto, and its precincts are home to notable cultural assets including the Shibamata Three-Lion Dance, designated as an intangible folk cultural property by Katsushika Ward, and an ancient burial mound chamber designated as a historical site.
