Rokuden Jinja is a historic shrine located in Tomiaikawa, Minami Ward, Kumamoto City, situated on Karukayama (Kiharasan) alongside the Chōju-ji temple. Formerly ranked as a gōsha (village shrine), it has long been venerated as a guardian deity of the local community. The shrine is said to enshrine six deities, and is believed to bestow blessings for bountiful harvests, household safety, and protection from evil. The precincts, enveloped by the pure mountain air, offer quiet solace to visitors and remain deeply cherished by local residents to this day.
