This is a venerable temple associated with Yutenshomin, a renowned Buddhist priest of the Edo period. Yutenshomin was known as a distinguished priest of the Jodo sect, particularly celebrated for his spiritual power in pacifying vengeful spirits. The legend of how he brought salvation to the vengeful spirit of Kasane no Fuchi continues to be passed down to this day. This temple stands quietly in a peaceful residential area of Nakameguro, offering respite from the bustle of the city. The compassionate teachings of Yutenshomin continue to be upheld in modern times, making this temple a sacred place for those seeking peace of mind.
