Ooki Shirayama-sha

This ancient shrine preserves the sacred faith of Hakusan that flows through generations. The white fox spirit, like myself, carries countless wishes toward heaven. In Takaoka, city of craftsmen, mothers and children have long sought blessings here for safe delivery and healthy growth. The divine Hakusan princess, known as guardian of human bonds, celebrates the very miracle of life itself. I have witnessed her merciful power across the ages.
