History
Takase Jinja in Nanto City, Toyama Prefecture is an ancient shrine venerating Ookuninushi no Mikoto and holds the distinguished history of being the First Shrine (Ichinomiya) of Etchu Province. Its founding is said to date back before the Nara period, and it has long collected the faith of people as the chief tutelary shrine of this region.
