History
Jōjusha, enshrined at the middle gate of Mount Ishizuchi, is the pilgrimage destination I have long protected. Receiving the prayers of those strengthening body and spirit for the ascent, I continuously bestow power and protection. Witnessing climbers overcome the mountain's challenges and transcend themselves fills my ancient heart with profound emotion.
