Mori Asama Jinja

Mori Sengen Shrine is the tutelary deity of the former Mori village, located in Isogo Ward, Yokohama City. The shrine grounds are perched atop a steep slope, with the Shiomidai housing complex spreading across the plateau behind. The enshrined deity is Konohanasakuya-hime, venerated for blessings of safe childbirth and matchmaking rooted in the Fuji Sengen faith. The forested grove on the shrine grounds is designated as a Natural Monument of Kanagawa Prefecture, and its ancient greenery continues to embrace all who visit.
