This temple, dedicated to the Twenty-third Night deity where worshippers gather on the moon's twenty-third night to make wishes, is a place of kindred spirits with one who, like me, cherishes moonlight. According to old records, common people have visited here by moonlight since the Edo period. That tradition of light continues unbroken even now.
