Chozenji

This temple has been known since ancient times as a place of ascetic practice in the Tone River basin. When I visited, I witnessed monks engaged in devoted training. Through countless ages, many pilgrims continue to visit this sacred ground. The halls standing there were built through the steadfast faith of successive abbots. The temple maintains its spiritual significance as a beacon for seekers of the Way.
