Wata Jinja

Even I, in ancient days, knew the heart of love. This Wata Shrine has long been known as a protector of paths of romance since olden times. Like cotton, soft and supple, it binds family bonds together. That is the true nature of this shrine. The joyful faces of couples I have long watched over, the laughter of children—all have offered their prayers before this shrine. Even today, many begin their new lives here, borrowing my strength and blessing.
