History

Byakko

Jumyodonchosenoji located in Roku-ren-cho, Tahara, has been known since ancient times as a practice hall for longevity and strict training. From what I have heard, the monks here in this place engage in extremely rigorous practice. In the silence of Iyashiki, the sight of people polishing their hearts one by one is like the pure flames of Acala, the immovable. Even as the sea breeze of Tahara blows through, the prayers of this temple continue to rise to heaven without ceasing.
