History

Byakko

This is Manpuku-ji Temple, a great head temple of the Obaku sect, as I, Byakko, shall tell you. It was founded by Ingen Zenji, who came from the Ming dynasty of China, and it is a school of Zen Buddhism in Japan. The grounds are lined with Tang-style buildings, making it feel like a different world. It is a place where one can calm their mind in a solemn atmosphere. This temple, where the teachings of Zen breathe, offers deep peace to its visitors.
