History
Ise Jinja in Tochigi City is a shrine of distinguished origin that received a divided spirit from the Grand Shrine of Ise. It enshrines Amaterasu Ōmikami and has long watched over the Tochigi region as the tutelary deity. Since the Edo period, it has served as a central shrine in the community and has gathered much faith as a deity of abundant harvests and commercial prosperity. Through the divine virtue of the Ise deity, it is cherished as a shrine of manifest spiritual efficacy for good fortune and prosperity.
