A sacred place of advancement and good fortune enshrining Toyotomi Hideyoshi, the great warlord. Hideyoshi's extraordinary rise from peasant to ruler of the realm continues to inspire hope in many people. Situated near the ruins of Hōkō-ji's Great Buddha Hall, the shrine both honors Hideyoshi's spirit and draws visitors who admire his bold and compassionate character. The grounds preserve items connected to Hideyoshi, offering a special place where one can feel the romance of the Sengoku period.
