History
Ouzenji is an ancient temple of the Shingon school located in Asao Ward, Kawasaki, said to have been founded in the early Heian period. It is the temple from which the place name "Ouzenji" is derived. Since ancient times, it has gathered the faith of local people and is said to have flourished as a place of Zen meditation practice.
