It is especially renowned throughout Japan for the "Kokufu-miya Hadaka Matsuri," a magnificent festival where men undergoing purification seek misfortune avoidance through a spirited celebration. With Okuninushi no Mikoto as its principal deity, it is known for wide-ranging blessings including matchmaking, prosperous business, and abundant harvests. It is also exceptionally famous as a deity of misfortune avoidance, welcoming numerous visitors throughout the year seeking purification blessings.
