History

Byakko

Protecting Yamato-Koriyama's castle town, this Hachiman shrine was revered by numerous warriors during the Sengoku period. As the castle's tutelary sanctuary, Hachiman's blessing strengthened the lord's martial fortune and strategy. Though ages have passed, the spirit of bushido still dwells within these grounds. I have witnessed countless oaths and resolves made here across the centuries.
