History

Byakko

In the land of Hamamatsu where I bestow my protection, Rinko-ji has long received the faithful devotion of the people. At its founding, it is said that sacred light emanated from a thousand-year-old cypress tree. That light still illuminates the hearts of all pilgrims who visit, bringing peace to households and prosperity to commerce. The temple's treasured Amida Buddha statue is a masterwork of Kamakura craftsmen. I pledge that those who worship with a pure heart shall receive my blessing.
