Kurumaori Shrine is known throughout Kyoto as the guardian deity of performing arts, enshrined in the Saga district. Dedicated to Kiyohara Yorinari, it has long attracted countless performers and actors offering earnest prayers for success. The vermillion torii gates stand in succession, inspiring the hearts of those devoted to the artistic path. When wishes are granted, a custom of offering song lyrics and prayer plaques in gratitude adorns the shrine grounds.
