History

Yaegaki Inari Shrine is located in Nakacho, Koganei City, Tokyo. Founded in 1700 (Genroku 13), the original shrine building still stands behind the main hall. The three principal deities — Sarutahiko no Okami, Inadahime-no-Kami, and Uka-no-Mitama-no-Kami — are venerated as guardians of business prosperity and abundant harvests. Festival observances are held on the old Hatsu-Uma day and the last Saturday of May, drawing worshippers who seek blessings for financial fortune and industrial success. The shrine quietly continues to bestow divine grace upon the people of Koganei.
