History
Goryou Jinja is a shrine situated in Chuo Ward, Osaka City, known as the guardian deity of bunraku and ningyo-joruri puppet theater. In the early modern period, it gathered the faith of many artists and bunraku-related practitioners as the kami of the performing arts.
