Nanzenji

Nestled in Kawazu's inner mountains, Nanzenji has brought peace to pilgrims' hearts as one of Izu's sacred places. From this sanctuary illuminated by stars and surrounded by clouds, I have shown visitors both the transience and eternity of human existence. All who come leave having found something.
