Hirataji

This ancient temple was founded in the ancestral lands of the Sagara Taira clan. Nestled in the hills of Makinohara, the land of tea, it is filled with the fragrance of green leaves and the silence of meditation. I have quietly observed the cycles of life here, always praying to purify the hearts and bodies of pilgrims as a single cup of tea purifies the spirit.
