History

Byakko

Takakura Jinja is an ancient shrine situated in Takama, a land facing the sea. For a long time, it has gathered the faith of many people as a deity of fishing and a guardian of maritime safety. From the shrine grounds, one can overlook Sagami Bay and feel the pleasant sea breeze. Here, it is believed to bring benefits of maritime safety, abundant catches, and matchmaking. I also enjoy gazing at the sea for a while in this land rich in oceanic blessings.
