Koshigaya Katori Jinja is a shrine invoked from Katori Jingū in Katori City, Chiba Prefecture. It enshrines Futsu Nushi no Ōkami, the principal deity of Katori Jingū. Futsu Nushi no Ōkami is known as a martial deity who left great achievements in the pacification of the land. Carefully protected by local people, this shrine is cherished as the tutelary deity of the Ōsawa district of Koshigaya. As it enshrines a martial deity, it is believed to grant the strength to face difficulties.
