Butspo Shoryu-ji, formally of Bettaku Sogozan, is an ancient Koyasan Shingon Buddhist temple in Suwa, Nagano. Founded in 806 during the Daido era, the temple has upheld its name meaning to introduce and perpetuate the Buddha Dharma through many centuries. Known also as Daikokuzo-in, the temple has long served as a place where the vast wisdom and compassion of the Buddha are venerated by the people of Suwa, drawing pilgrims and devotees across the generations.
