Established by enshrining a divided spirit from the revered Kumano Sanzan, it has drawn faithful devotees for centuries. Within its grounds stands a magnificent sacred linden tree, over a thousand years old, bearing a heart-shaped hollow in its trunk. Legend whispers that touching this ancient tree brings good fortune and blessed relationships. I have long watched over the countless prayers offered here.
