Suwa Taisha Shimo-sha Haru-gu is one of the four Suwa Taisha shrines and has served as a center of grand faith continuing from ancient times. True to its name Haru-gu (Spring Shrine), it is a sacred place where the principal deities are enshrined from spring through summer. Enshrining both Takeminakata-no-Kami and Yasakatome-no-Kami as principal deities, it is particularly well-known for its spiritual benefits regarding romantic relationships. Located near the hot spring district of Shimosuwa, this shrine is a sacred site for romantic fulfillment where many visitors come seeking good relationships.
