Fukuo Shrine, located in Imazutohdaicho, Nishinomiya City, Hyogo Prefecture, is one of the three shrines collectively known as the Nishinomiya 'Three Fortune Deities' (Sanfukujin), alongside Nishinomiya Shrine and Koshikiiwa Shrine. Enshrined since ancient times as the local tutelary deity of the Imazucho area, the shrine has long served as a spiritual anchor for the community. Imazucho flourished as a port town, and the shrine gathered deep devotion from the people of this commercially vibrant region. During the Edo period it served as the clan shrine of Imazugo district. Today it continues to attract many worshippers seeking good fortune.
