History
Aigawayama Ryushoin is one of the leading ancient temples in Chiba Prefecture, second only to Naritasan Shinshoji. It is said to have been founded by Kobo Daishi (Kukai) during the Heian period and attracts many worshippers as a deity of warding off evil, good luck, and academic success.
