Kamo Jinja

Surrounded by the mountains of Kumenan, this shrine protects the sacred work of farmers who sweat to cultivate the earth. The kami watches over every season—planting in spring, weeding in summer, harvesting in autumn. Family prosperity and abundant grain are one: without food, neither families nor people exist. The humble yet noble work of feeding humanity receives divine protection here. The blessings of this agricultural kami are truly sacred.
