Daikannonji

With the Great Kannon as its principal deity, this temple nestles at the foot of Mount Haku and especially listens to the prayers of women. The pains of childbirth and life's confusions pale before the gaze of the Great Kannon. This is a sacred place where earth-mother and Kannon-mother become one.
