Saruta Hiko Jinja

Saruta Hiko Jinja is a special shrine enshrined in Ise, serving as the sacred site of Saruta Hiko Okami, who guided the heavenly grandchild's descent to earth. This location is said to be where Saruta Hiko Okami actually dwelled, making it the center of Saruta Hiko faith throughout Japan. Due to its proximity to Ise Jingu, many pilgrims visit this shrine alongside their pilgrimage to the Grand Shrine.
