Tsukiyomi Miya is an auxiliary shrine of Ise Jingu's Outer Shrine, enshrining Tsukiyomi no Mikoto in a sacred shrine. Situated near the Outer Shrine in Miyago, it has long gathered people's faith as the kami of the moon. Tsukiyomi no Mikoto has deep connections with Toyouke Ōmikami and is also known for divine virtues related to agriculture and food. The grounds are enveloped in tranquility and welcome visitors with gentleness like moonlight. Many people visit here alongside their Outer Shrine worship, and true to the kami who governs the night, this warm shrine brings peace and tranquility to the heart. It is a wonderful sacred place where one can feel the blessings of the moon and offer daily gratitude.
