Kannonji
About
History
Kannonji is a Koyasan Shingon Buddhist temple in Kokufu-cho Kannonji, Tokushima City, Tokushima Prefecture. Its mountain name is Koyozan and its cloister name is Senjuin. The principal image is Senju Kanzeon Bosatsu (Thousand-Armed Kannon). It is the 16th temple on the Shikoku 88 Sacred Sites pilgrimage and the 32nd site on the Eastern section of the Awa Saigoku 33 Kannon pilgrimage. White-robed henro pilgrims have long journeyed to this temple seeking the boundless compassion of Senju Kannon, who is said to reach out with a thousand hands to save all sentient beings.

納経所は本堂左手にありますが、扉が閉まっている場合はインターホンを押すとご住職が自宅から来てくださいます。
光明真言印(四国霊場でここにしかない特別印)は白衣への押印のみ対応で、納経帳には押印できません。
