Nagakura Shrine, situated in Karuizawa, Kitasaku, Nagano, is a shikinaisha listed in the Engishiki, with a former social rank of sonsha (village shrine). The enshrined deities are Homutawake-no-mikoto, Okinagatarashi-hime-no-mikoto, and Tamayori-hime-no-mikoto. True to its name "Nagakura" — long storehouse — the shrine has long been a center of faith for the local community, gathering prayers for lasting prosperity. The main hall is designated a cultural property of Karuizawa Town, preserving its historical significance to this day.
