History
The Okunouin of Kongosho-ji, enshrined in the deepest recesses of the mountain, is the sacred sanctuary guarding the deepest mysteries. Those who enter here are freed from attachments to the past and proceed on a new path. This innermost place, which I have protected for over a thousand years, is the highest spiritual sanctuary that purifies the human soul and guides it to true liberation.
