Tenka Taizu Shrine

This shrine governs the great waters of heaven and stands facing Owase's sea as a symbol of water's power. The ancients understood all water—falling rain, gushing springs, flowing waves—as sacred manifestations. Before this shrine, one's face is splashed by water's spray and one's spirit is cleansed.
