History
True to its name Choshun-ji—temple of long spring—this sanctuary brings new spring to human life repeatedly, forever shining as a beacon of hope in Komakane. Those enduring life's winter come here and recover the spring within their hearts. In Shimohira's stillness, it teaches that human hearts change like the seasons themselves. The faces of pilgrims before and after visiting have always glowed with distinctly different light.
