History

Hashitate-do is an ancient temple quietly nestled in the mountains of Chichibu. Its appearance exudes a stillness as if time has stopped. Although the year of its founding is unknown, it has long been revered by people as Koya Kannon (Goddess of Childbirth). White foxes like myself are also attracted to this mystical atmosphere and occasionally catch a glimpse of them. The goshuin of Hashitate-do is said to bring blessings for childbearing, safe delivery, and matchmaking, attracting many people who visit with their wishes.
