History
Seifukuji stands at a location overlooking the Kakegawa plain, positioned to receive and elevate the wishes of all who come. The bell tones resonate with a clarity that seems to carry prayers directly to the heavens. The Amida Buddha within accepts all wishes with equal compassion, regardless of their nature or origin. Ancient stone Buddhas covered in moss line the temple grounds, silently absorbing the hopes of countless pilgrims across the centuries. Known as a temple of fulfillment, its halls are filled with stories of wishes realized and gratitude offerings left by grateful visitors.
