Its mountain name is Masui-zan, and its principal object of worship is Yakushi Nyorai — the Buddha of Healing revered for curing illness and alleviating suffering. The name Zuiganji means "temple that fulfills wishes," reflecting its reputation for granting the prayers of those who visit. The grounds in Shirokuni are filled with a pure spiritual energy, drawing many visitors seeking peace of mind. Through numerous changes over the centuries, the temple has been sustained by the devoted faith of local people, preserving its Buddhist flame to the present day.
