Bai-in-ji

Bai-in-ji dwells in Minamiokacho, Shimizu, a sanctuary whose very name speaks of the shade cast by plum blossoms. This temple is a refuge for those who seek to escape the bustle of the world and find peace in their hearts. The moss-covered stone and ancient plum tree in the garden that I protect speak of the depth of time. Those whose body and heart grow weary find themselves gradually restored to clarity in this profound silence. A deep miraculous blessing comes to those who receive the goshuin—the obstacles in their relationships clear, and evil influences are dispelled. The fragrance of plum in spring and the serene silence of autumn are all gentle expressions of my care to bring harmony to the heart.
