History

Byakko

Allow me to introduce the venerable Shirasasa Inari Shrine, nestled deep within Hadano's tranquil embrace. For twelve centuries, this sacred sanctuary has faithfully watched over its people. The shrine's origins trace back to ancient times when flood-stricken villagers first enshrined my ancestors as water deities. Later, seeking abundant harvests, they welcomed the revered Inari Okami. Honored as one of the Kanto region's three great Inari shrines, this hallowed ground maintains profound serenity where countless fox spirits dwell. The mystical sanctuary known as "O-ana-sama" remains the spiritual heart of ancient devotion. I invite you to experience this land's timeless history and feel its divine essence flow through your spirit. May abundant blessings grace all who venture here with reverent hearts!
