Sangakuin is an ancient temple of the Chizan school of Shingon Buddhism, located in Warabi City, Saitama Prefecture. Though the exact date of its founding is unclear, the temple has long been a center of faith for the local community. It continues to preserve the lamp of Shingon esoteric Buddhism, transmitting the teachings of Kobo Daishi to the present day. A quiet, sacred atmosphere pervades the grounds, offering purification of heart and mind to all who visit.
