岩屋内部は自然洞窟で気温が低く、年間を通じて肌寒いです。上着の用意をお勧めします。動きやすい服装が必須です。
江ノ島電鉄江ノ島駅から徒歩約25分です。駅から江島神社を経由して、岩屋入口までは坂道と階段が続きます。所要時間に余裕を見てください。
岩屋の入場料は大人200円です。内部は照明が限定的で足元が濡れやすいため、歩きやすい靴と懐中電灯があると便利です。
土日祝日と観光シーズンの午前10時～午後2時は混雑しやすいです。特に夏季と連休期間は岩屋内が混雑するため、早朝の訪問をお勧めします。
